Participate · Take It to Your Statehouse

Contact your representative

Only your state legislature can start this. Under Article V, when two-thirds of the states apply, Congress must call a convention to propose amendments. Here’s how to reach your legislator — and a ready-made letter urging them to do the one thing only they can: apply for that convention, and insist it be chosen by the people, not captured by faction.

How to actually get heard

State legislators are far more reachable than Congress. A few basics make the difference.

Find your state legislator

Not your governor or member of Congress — your State House and State Senate member for your address.

Use the district office

Local offices answer faster than the capitol. Email and call both if you can.

Lead as a constituent

Say your name and that you live in their district. They weigh their own voters above everything.

Make one specific ask

Support an Article V application resolution — and insist its delegates be chosen by a capture-proof, citizen-led process.

Bring a few neighbors

Numbers move offices. A handful of constituents on one ask is a real signal.

Keep it short, then follow up

One page, one ask. If there’s no reply in a week, send it again.

Build your letter

Fill this in and we’ll assemble a letter you can edit, copy, print, or email.

Form letters get ignored. Offices discount identical mass mail. The field marked “why this matters to you” is what makes yours land — say something only you can say.
Look them up, then paste their details below. (Automatic lookup is coming once the site is live.)

Tip: email lands fastest; a printed, mailed letter carries more weight. Doing both is strongest.
